What makes KISMIF so unique?

There are very few recreational opportunities for disabled people to enjoy and even fewer outdoor recreational opportunities. KISMIF’s primary focus is the outdoors. It is one of a few non-profits in the country that provides quality outdoor recreation for disabled individuals. There are currently no other programs of it’s kind in Nevada.

Vision for the Future

There is an overwhelming need for a dedicated building that provides comprehensive resources for individuals with disabilities, including:

•Legal and accounting assistance

•Home modification grants and assistance

•Access to healthcare

•Child care services

KISMIF is about socialization through outdoor recreation programs offering opportunities for disabled individuals and their family members to meet new people, develop interpersonal skills, gain self-confidence, reduce stress, improve social or communication skills, and most importantly, keeping it simple and fun!
